The University Ethics and Compliance Office will support administration of the System and its universities in fulfilling their missions in an environment based on ethical conduct and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and guidance. The University Ethics and Compliance Office is the designated liaison to receive and, as necessary, coordinate and/or refer the investigation of fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, misconduct, or other violations of applicable laws, rules or guidelines.

Annual Ethics Act Training Coming Soon

The University of Illinois Ethics and Compliance Office is preparing to administer the Annual Faculty, Staff, and Graduate Employee Ethics Act Training program this fall. All permanent employees, including graduate employees, are required to complete the online program annually and will be expected to do so during the designated training window:

September 28 - October 30, 2026

As you prepare for the start of the fall semester, please mark your calendar to complete this important regulatory requirement.

Sexual Misconduct Prevention for Graduate and Undergraduate Students

The Sexual Misconduct (Title IX) Training for Graduate and Undergraduate Students is now available. Enrolled students will receive an email from our training vendor, Vector Solutions. The communication will come from the University Ethics and Compliance Officer email address (ethicsofficer@uis.edu) and will contain instructions for completing the coursework.
